Volunteer Info Session – Festival in the Park

If you’ve volunteered before or would like to be apart of helping us at this year’s Festival in the Park, we are doing some new things this year, so please try to attend! The link to the sign up is HERE:

Join us August 17th @ 4pm at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church for a one-hour general information & volunteer training session as we prepare for our exciting three-day Festival in the Park!

(Plan on staying for jamming and our August Front Porch – featuring the Burnett Sisters ).

This information and volunteer training session will cover why CFS will have a booth and almost nonstop entertainment on our own stage at the festival, and also talk about how we can go about recruiting new interest and memberships for our non-profit, the Charlotte Folk Society. We’ll go over what you can expect when you show up for a shift at the festival, and engage in some fun role-play practice to ensure everyone feels confident being an CFS Ambassador to festival attendees. Whether you’re a people person who loves to make new friends, or a little more introverted and like to focus of specific tasks…We need your help and have something you can help us with.

This Festival is a big deal spanning 3 days, with an expectation of over 100,000 visitors!….So we need a BIG groug of volunteers, and Your participation is crucial to making this event a success for CFS!
