Additionally, a CFS bluegrass session (closed) will meet Sunday April 18th, May 16th, June 27th, and July 25th at the brewery!

There will be jam sessions prior to the show beginning at 4pm, and a food truck will be available for dinner while you watch the show!

The Special Consensus is a widely-acclaimed Bluegrass band receiving numerous accolades over the years. More specifically, their new album, "Chicago Barn Dance," is hailed as quintessential modern Bluegrass music.

The title track of their most recent album by the same name "Chicago Barn Dance," received the 2020 IBMA Song of the Year Award. 

"It’s a lively number that should find a welcome reception from bluegrass radio." - Bluegrass Today March 2020.

Non-members are encouraged to donate $20/person and, for members, $10/person.

Tune in TOMORROW NIGHT(Friday March 26th) at 7:30 pm to hear these two great up-and-coming, young, folk musicians! With their roots in the traditional bluegrass style, Gabe and Grace present a lively set of contemporary folk tunes, while also retaining the traditional bluegrass sound through their instrumental breaks and vocal harmonies!

The show can be viewed for free on Facebook live, our Youtube Channel, or directly on our website folksociety.org! Additionally, there will be an option to give a donation to the Folk Society during the live stream.
